Hotel website design
Every booking made through a platform costs you a commission. The ones that come through your own site do not.
A hotel on the Riviera is rarely found by chance. People discover you on Booking, on a map or through a recommendation — then they type your name to see what you really look like. That moment, between discovery and booking, almost always happens on your own site. It is the only place where you speak without an intermediary, and the only one where a booking costs you nothing.
What decides it comes down to very little: photos that create desire and show the actual room, a location people place immediately, a price they understand, and a booking button that does not send them back to the platform they just left.
We design these sites for hotels, inns and guest houses in Montreux, Vevey, Blonay and across the Riviera.
What it includes
Direct booking
Your booking engine wired into the page, or an enquiry form if you have none. The goal is the same: the guest should not have to leave.
Location as an argument
The view, the lake, the distance to the station or the vines: what makes your value shows at the top, not in an "access" paragraph.
Real rooms
Each category photographed as it is, with what it includes and what it costs. Bad surprises are paid for in reviews.
Two languages minimum
On the Riviera, a real share of your guests do not read French. The English version is part of the Complete pack, not an add-on.
What a platform booking really costs
Booking platforms generally take between fifteen and twenty-five per cent of every night. Over a season, the bill far exceeds the price of a website. They stay useful — they are how people discover you — but every returning guest should be able to book with you directly, and that is rarely the case.
The reason is almost always the same: the official site is less clear, slower and less reassuring than the platform listing. As long as that holds, the guest makes the rational choice. A good hotel site does not try to replace Booking: it tries to be better than Booking for the people who already know you.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a hotel website cost?
The Complete pack at CHF 2,500 is the realistic starting point: it includes the English version, the form, the gallery and the admin area, all of which are needed here. The Showcase pack at CHF 1,000 suits a guest house that simply wants to exist online.
Do you connect our booking engine?
Yes, when you already have one. We embed it in the page so the journey is not broken. If you do not have one, we often start with an enquiry form, simpler and enough at low volumes.
Our photos are a bit dated.
This matters more on a hotel site than the design itself. We prefer to say so plainly up front: in this trade, a fresh set of photographs changes more than a full redesign.
Do we need German as well?
Often yes, more than English depending on your guests. A good share of Riviera visitors come from German-speaking Switzerland. We look at where your bookings come from before deciding.
